This ass believes their superior intellect grants them a sacred duty to explain very simple things to people who did not ask and already knew. They will define words you have used correctly for decades. They will clarify concepts a toddler has mastered, slowly, with a warm and unbearable smile. Every conversation is a teaching moment, and you are, unfortunately, always the student. The condescension is delivered as kindness, which somehow makes it considerably worse. They are not helping. They are performing a lecture, and you are the audience, the props, and the cautionary tale. A tireless professor of the obvious, guided by a wisdom you supposedly lack, generously sharing it whether you asked or not.
