This ass has read every book about believing in yourself and not one about the thing they are actually trying to do. Confidence, to them, is a substitute for competence rather than a result of it. They will affirm, visualize, and manifest their way toward a skill they have flatly refused to practice, and they will do it out loud, at you, over a smoothie. The vibes are immaculate. The output is theoretical. Somewhere between the vision board and the vision sits a small gap called the work, and they have decided to feel their way across it. Unshakably positive, endlessly unprepared, and certain that certainty is enough.
