Fake Busy Ass

This ass is so swamped. So slammed. Drowning, really, they will tell you, at length, having somehow found the time. Their calendar is a fortress of blocks defending against the sheer terror of an open afternoon. They answer emails at 11 p.m. purely so you know they were up. Busy is not a state to them, it is a brand, carefully maintained and aggressively announced. Ask what they accomplished and the answer dissolves into a fog of meetings about meetings. Motion, they have mastered. Progress remains at large. The hardest-working person you know, at the singular job of appearing to work hard.
