Subtle is a word this ass has heard and chosen to ignore. Why say it when you can announce it, stage it, light it, and provide a costume change? They do not have birthdays, they have seasons. They do not tell a story, they world-premiere it. If there is a spotlight within a hundred miles, they will find it, stand in it, and ask if it can be brighter. Too much? There is no such thing.
