Brave Ass

Fear is a language this ass simply never learned, and it shows, mostly in the emergency-room intake notes. They have held someone's beer for causes no reasonable person would sponsor. 'Watch this' is not a phrase to them, it is a mission statement. They will pet the animal, click the link, eat the mystery leftover, and confront the larger man, all before lunch, all with the serene calm of someone who has never once pictured a consequence. Reckless? They call it decisive. The ambulance calls it Tuesday. And somehow, gloriously, against all available odds, they are still here.
